Cheryl Inmon-Long

Dr. Cheryl Inmon-Long is a Licensed Psychologist who provides non-medication interventions with an approach this is practical, solution-focused, and centered upon individual needs and goals. She received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, a nationally accredited program. Her passion for holistic and integrated care began during her time at Martin Luther King Jr. Family Clinic in Dallas, TX as an Integrated Behavioral Health Consultant. Dr. Inmon-Long developed and implemented the pioneering integrated behavioral health services program within the existing community health clinic. She provided emotional and behavioral counseling for individuals with diabetes, depression, tobacco use, weight concerns, and addiction, seeing first hand the value of integrated interventions. To increase awareness of her work with the MLK Clinic, Dr. Inmon-Long made multiple radio appearances on KHVN-Dallas.

During her work at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX, she conducted biofeedback intervention (monitoring of heat rate variability, nerve conduction, temperature, skin conduction, respiratory rate) to successfully reduce migraine headaches, chronic pain, panic disorder, and anxiety disorder.

As an outpatient therapist, she has conducted individual, intensive outpatient group, and family counseling. She believes that asking for help is not a sign of weakness.

Dr. Inmon-Long brings this wealth of experience with her to RESTORE where she will spearhead our Life Change Counseling Program as a member of your integrated health care team.

The Life Change Counseling Program consists of:
• A 1-hour evaluation that examines how relationships, community, stress, anxiety, spirituality, and your environment affect your health
